IATA launches Opremic Revenue Management Simulator
Explore the fundamentals and principles of airline revenue management (RM) through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, and validate your learning using our sophisticated airline revenue management simulator. Over 4 days, you will learn how to optimize airline revenue through pricing strategies, controls and forecasting.
The simulation exercises will immerse you into a realistic, risk-free environment where you will make decisions based on variables such as customer demand patterns (leisure vs. business travellers), individual RM system booking class hierarchy, and restricted and unrestricted fare structures. Your challenge is to optimize your revenue by analyzing KPIs generated in the simulator and take actions based on their evaluation.

The cooperation with Professor Rytter is based on the common interested in liner shipping and especially revenue management in that industry.
The liner shipping industry is trying to learn from others like hotels or airlines and wants to enhance their revenue management capabilities. A joined focus in this cooperation is the development of simulation tools to help the change management process in that industry.
The longest standing relationship of this company is with the Clausthal University of Technology. Professor Hanschke has a research group about stochastic models in the industry.
Concepts we use today in production planning, revenue management or other disciplines were developed here. Even the form of cooperation was first tried and enhanced with Professor Hanschke has he has a strong will bringing the latest research into use.
Since 2017 we are the exclusive partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the area of Revenue Management & Pricing.
